Boiling eggs with Thai insects

Photographing a wedding in Thailand brought us to Chaing Mai and from there we ventured further north – to the Pai province famous for having between 700 and 900 sharp bends in the road on the route up there. We spent the day at the Tha Pai Hotspring where eggs are boiled in the water just beyond the bating area where the water is much hotter.  The spring water is funnelled away from the hillside through tubing for use in the nearby villages. Its also funnelled to private tubs and thermal spas for tourists. For this reason no bathing is permitted higher than the point at which the funnel systems begin and mesh is laid over the top of the first tubes.

Where Exactly?
